Designing a new beer label is always an exciting experience, and this project was no exception. We had the pleasure of collaborating with our long-time client, Second Line Brewing, a self-owned craft brewery based in Louisiana. Known for their innovative spirit, they continue to embrace fresh and creative ideas to stand out in a competitive market. With a deep commitment to quality and a love for pushing boundaries, Second Line Brewing offers a wide range of unique and flavorful beers, and we were thrilled to be a part of their visual identity evolution.
Inspiration & Concept:
The design concepts were fueled by a love for travel, vacations, exotic destinations, art, and the vibrant culture of Louisiana itself. The goal was to capture the essence of adventure and joy, offering a glimpse into a carefree and lively lifestyle. We wanted the labels to embody a sense of wanderlust and evoke the excitement of discovering new places and experiences, while also showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Louisiana. Whether it’s the spirit of a music festival or the warmth of a tropical beach, these labels reflect the energy and diversity that Second Line Brewing brings to their beers.
Design Approach:
We created vibrant, bold, and modern label designs to reflect the dynamic flavors within each beer. Each label features its own distinct color palette and graphic style, drawing inspiration from different facets of travel, art, and festivals. The designs are playful yet sophisticated, perfectly aligning with the brewery’s adventurous ethos. All labels are specifically crafted for 12oz canned beers, showcasing a variety of flavors, each with its own unique personality. Whether you’re sipping on a hoppy IPA or a smooth lager, these labels invite you to explore both the world and your taste buds.
