Project Overview
This packaging concept was created for a vanilla-flavored plant protein blend presented in a paper tube format selected by the client. The objective was to develop a premium identity that communicates the product’s natural composition while distinguishing it from the bold, performance-driven aesthetic commonly found in the supplement category.
The challenge was to balance clear nutritional communication with a visual language that feels authentic, organic, and approachable.
Inspiration & Concept
The concept begins with the product’s ingredients rather than its performance claims.
Instead of relying on energetic graphics or fitness-inspired imagery, the design celebrates the natural origin of the product through a hand-drawn vanilla botanical illustration. The artwork becomes the visual centerpiece of the packaging, expressing purity, quality, and craftsmanship while immediately communicating the product’s flavor.
A restrained palette of warm neutrals reinforces the organic character of the supplement, creating a calm and sophisticated identity that invites trust rather than demanding attention.
Design Solution
The cylindrical paper tube provides a clean architectural form that naturally supports a minimalist layout. Large typography ensures product clarity, while the custom illustration wraps around the container to create movement and continuity across the packaging.
Information is carefully organized to remain accessible without competing with the visual identity, allowing the illustration and typography to work together as a cohesive system.
