This commissioned illustration was created for a restaurant dedicated to Henry Ford and his legacy. Rather than producing a traditional portrait, the objective was to design an engaging tabletop illustration that would enrich the dining experience and encourage guests to discover the story of one of history’s most influential industrialists.

Inspiration & Concept
The concept was inspired by the idea that a portrait can tell far more than the story of a face.
Instead of focusing solely on Henry Ford’s likeness, the illustration combines milestones from his life through carefully selected visual references, including his signature, famous quotation, early automobiles, aviation, engineering details, and significant dates. These elements work together to create a layered composition that rewards closer observation and gradually reveals different chapters of his life and achievements.
