Packaging design for a single-origin coffee collection inspired by the landscapes and cultural heritage of each coffee-growing region. Illustrated maps and locally inspired ornamental patterns transform every package into a visual celebration of origin while creating a cohesive and contemporary product family.
Project Overview
This project is the first of three packaging concepts developed for the Adeline Coffee collection. The design brief called for clean, white packaging that would clearly communicate the origin of each coffee while creating a premium and recognizable shelf presence.
The challenge was to develop a visual system that distinguished every variety without losing consistency across the collection.
Inspiration & Concept
The concept is built around the idea that every coffee tells the story of the place where it was grown.
Rather than using photography or generic illustrations, each package features a stylized map of the country of origin enriched with ornamental patterns inspired by local culture, craftsmanship, and traditional motifs. Carefully selected colors reinforce the unique character of each region while creating an immediate visual distinction between varieties.
The result is a collection where origin becomes the hero of the packaging, inviting coffee lovers to discover not only different flavors but also the stories behind them.
Design Solution
A minimalist white background provides a clean and premium foundation, allowing the illustrated maps to become the defining visual element of the packaging.
Each country is represented through a custom illustration that combines geographic form with culturally inspired patterns, creating a balance between information and visual storytelling. Consistent typography, layout, and branding elements unify the collection, while the color palette gives every origin its own recognizable identity.
The final design system celebrates diversity within a cohesive brand language, making the collection easy to navigate while emphasizing the authenticity and individuality of every single-origin coffee.
